The ChangeWave Alliance

What is the ChangeWave Alliance?

  • The ChangeWave Alliance is a group of 5,000 highly qualified business, technology, and medical professionals in leading companies of select industries, who constitute the most unique and highly accurate investment intelligence network in the world.

  • The Alliance’s proprietary research and business intelligence gathering system is based upon the systematic gathering of valuable business and investment information directly over the Internet from accredited members.

  • ChangeWave surveys its Alliance members on a range of business and investment research and intelligence topics, collects feedback from them electronically, and converts the information into proprietary quantitative and qualitative reports.

  • The Alliance membership team of credentialed professionals spend their everyday lives working on the frontlines of technological change within more than 20 vertical markets. From the consumer standpoint, they are classic early adopters. Nearly three-out-of-five members (58%) have advanced graduate degrees (e.g., Masters or Ph.D.) and 94% have at least a 4-year bachelor’s degree.

  • Each month the Alliance receives business and intelligence information from thousands of its members on a full range of technology issues, companies, and economy-wide transformations. One example: 1,219 Alliance members participated in our most recent corporate quarterly sales survey.

How Do We Maintain Quality Control?

The proprietary "secret" to maintaining quality control over the worldwide Alliance network is threefold:

  • Membership Accreditation: Members undergo a rigorous accreditation process before being admitted into the Alliance. Since its inception, less than 50% of the overall applicants to the Alliance have been admitted as members.

  • Membership Profiling: To be accepted into the Alliance, members have to fill out a comprehensive profile that includes their resumes and the selection of a series of keywords that identify their role and expertise in the economy. By knowing their skills and professional area(s) of expertise, we can target and engage them in a variety of ways that enhance the quality of investment information gathered.

  • "Rated" Alliance Intelligence Reporting Process: This process tracks each member’s submissions and produces cumulative bi-yearly "grades" for each member based upon a 4.0 grade point system – further guaranteeing the quality and accuracy of intelligence produced by the Alliance.
