Latest Consumer Survey Shows a Very Slight Uptick for August

ChangeWave's latest survey shows a very slight improvement in U.S. consumer spending for August after the pullbacks of the previous two months.

The survey of 2,739 U.S. consumers, completed August 10th, has also picked up a significant improvement in U.S. consumer sentiment and expectations, along with some signs of momentum for a small number of retailers.

The report also takes a close look at the Back to School spending season.
