Clear Signs of Improvement for the Holidays

ChangeWave's November survey of 2,815 U.S. consumers finds clear signs of improvement going forward – including an uptick in holiday gift shopping for the 2010 season.

The survey – completed November 8th – points to a burst of momentum in U.S. consumer spending on electronics and restaurants, along with an uptick for durable goods.

A handful of department stores and discounters are also showing momentum, and there is one huge and unmistakable winner in the electronics marketplace this holiday season.

The latest ChangeWave survey has also picked up a significant improvement in consumer sentiment and expectations.
