Software Spending Stabilizing Though Still Sluggish - A Handful of Vendors Show Momentum

ChangeWave's latest software purchasing survey shows business spending is stabilizing going forward – a welcome relief after the slowdown in growth seen in our July survey.

The October 12 – 25 survey of 1,602 respondents involved with software purchasing in their company finds spending beginning to improve in several software categories.

We're also picking up signs of momentum for a handful of major vendors going forward. Despite these improvements, the overall software spending environment is still sluggish with few signs of a major uptick in the immediate future.
