Cloud Spending Surges Even as Overall Software Spending Slows

ChangeWave's recent Business Software survey report pointed to an erosion in overall corporate software spending with the downtick hitting most software categories. There were still positives, however, led by a surge in spending on Cloud computing.

This report focuses on the latest cloud computing trends, including how companies are now making use of the cloud, and which cloud vendors have the most momentum going forward. A total of 1,632 respondents involved with software purchasing in their company participated in the July 11-25 survey, including 335 who currently use cloud services.
