Verizon's 4G LTE network was out of commission just over 24 hours for most users, but the immediate outcry points to the growing impact 4G high speed networks are having on the industry. Boasting lightning upload and download speeds, manufacturers are rolling out multiple 4G devices to capitalize on what many believe to be the hottest new trend in smart phones. But which 4G models are living up to their advertised hype? And are there non-4G smart phones which perform better? To find out, from April 18-28 we surveyed 1,341 consumers who had purchased a smart phone in the past six months – including 220 with 4G models – to tell us how satisfied they are and what they like and dislike most about their new phones.
