New Survey Looks at TV 'Cord Cutting' and the Latest Trends in Alternative Television

ChangeWave's latest TV Service Providers report focused on the battle between traditional TV providers, but a new ChangeWave survey shows the Alternative TV industry is becoming a growing threat to the traditional TV model.

The June ChangeWave survey shows the trend among consumers towards TV 'Cord Cutting' is continuing, with a small but significant group opting to go instead with alternative TV options. The survey also focused on the scramble among free and paid Internet video/ TV providers to take advantage of these alternative trends – along with the Internet-connected devices garnering the most demand among consumers. A total of 1,309 consumers participated in the June 17-27, 2011 survey.
