Back in September there was a major leap in consumer planned buying in our ChangeWave Smart Phone survey due to the Apple iPhone 4S launch. But with the holiday season over, which manufacturers will now have momentum in the 1st Quarter?

ChangeWave's latest survey of 4,073 consumers, conducted December 6 – 23, took a close-up look at consumer smart phone trends going forward and found explosive momentum for Apple and Samsung as we head into the new year. ChangeWave Research is a service of 451 Research.

We note that the survey is primarily North American, with 87% of respondents from the U.S.
